If you were to mix Mark Ronson with Disclosure, the result would be a blend of high energy Dance Pop mixed with soulful grooves and melodies, inspired by the late 70's and 80’s. Sprinkle in a little bit of influence from Chicago House and this is exactly what Brando Walker achieves with his dance floor fillers time and time again.
“Last year was a year of experimentation for me. I have produced a lot of music for big artists such as Pixie Lott, but never for myself.
What came out is a mix of Dance music and RnB, which has always not only been a crowd favourite at Brando’s DJ sets but what he identifies with the most as an artist.
Brando’s first year as an artist in 2021 was full of high points. Garnering the support and attention of radio DJs such as Sarah Gosling (BBC Introducing, XFM) and Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music), headlining the BBC Introducing Stage at Boardmasters, and hitting the target of 100k streams across all platforms.
Brando is looking to make an even bigger splash this year. Bring it on!!
Who is Brando Walker?
Hailing from The English Riviera, Brando has spent the past few years producing and songwriting for developing as well as established artists in cooperation with major record labels such as RCA, Decca and Universal. Brando is also a popular DJ in and around London and has played at events for the likes of Harry Styles, Noel Fielding and many more.
